Wireless networks · managed

Managed Wi-Fi: coverage that works in every room, and someone who looks after it.

Dead spots in the meeting room, a guest network on the same network as the accounts PC, and nobody who knows the admin password. Missan 365 surveys, designs, installs and then manages your Wi-Fi as part of one service, with changes and faults handled by our helpdesk. 5,000+ clients served since 2004.

Who it's for

Who this is for.

  • Offices with dead spots where calls drop in some rooms and staff move to find a signal.
  • Warehouses and showrooms with metal racking, large spaces and handheld scanners that lose connection.
  • Multi-site businesses that want the same Wi-Fi, settings and security at every branch.
  • Companies with visitors who need a guest network kept away from company systems.

Questions

What office and operations managers ask about Wi-Fi.

What is managed Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi that a provider designs, installs and then looks after for you: monitoring, updates, security settings, changes and fault fixing, on a monthly fee instead of a one-off installation that nobody maintains.

Can you fix our existing Wi-Fi rather than replace it?

Often, yes. We survey first. If the equipment is sound, we reposition, reconfigure and add access points where needed. If it is end of life, we say so and quote a replacement.

How do you keep the guest network secure?

Guests get their own network with internet access only. They cannot see company computers, servers or printers, and the guest password can be changed regularly.

Do you cover warehouses?

Yes. Warehouses need a different design because racking and stock block signals. We survey with the racking in place and design for handheld scanners and roaming.

Can you manage Wi-Fi across several branches?

Yes. Every site is set up to the same standard and managed centrally, so staff can connect at any branch with the same settings.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the building, the number of access points and sites, and whether existing equipment can be reused. After a free survey you get a written quote.

Tell us about your building and we will survey the Wi-Fi.

Number of sites, rough floor area, number of users and where the Wi-Fi lets you down. We reply within one business day.
