Switch your IT provider · no gap in support

Outgrown break-fix? Move to a managed service that actually runs your IT.

Whether you are leaving an in-house setup or another provider, switching to Missan 365 is a planned, documented handover — not a leap of faith. We run the transition so support never goes dark, and you keep full control of your environment throughout.

The signs you have outgrown your current setup

If two or three of these feel familiar, it is time.

Break-fix support and a single in-house admin work — until they do not. These are the signals that your organisation has grown past what your current arrangement can carry.

You only hear from IT when something breaks

Support arrives after the outage, never before it. There is no monitoring catching problems while your team sleeps — just a number you call once work has already stopped.

Security feels like an afterthought

Backups are assumed rather than tested, patching slips, and nobody can say with confidence that your data would survive a ransomware attack on a Tuesday morning.

Leadership has no visibility

No monthly report, no service levels, no roadmap. You cannot see what is being done, what it costs, or what comes next — IT is a black box you fund and hope works.

Your in-house person is a single point of failure

One overworked admin holds all the knowledge. When they are on leave or move on, the organisation is exposed — and there is no documented handover.

Response times are unpredictable

Sometimes you wait an hour, sometimes a day. There is no agreed target, no priority system, and no accountability when a critical issue drags on.

IT cannot keep up with growth

New sites, new staff, new compliance demands — and a setup that was never built to scale. Every change is a scramble instead of a planned step.

What switching looks like

The Missan 365 Method — your first 30 days, mapped.

No big-bang cutover, no week without support. A structured onboarding that documents, hardens and brings your environment under monitoring while your team keeps working.

01

Days 1–3 · Assess

We learn your environment before we touch it.

A free, structured review of your support, security, backup and Microsoft 365. We map your users, devices, sites and systems, and agree the service levels — so the switch is planned, not improvised.

  • Full estate discovery
  • Service levels agreed in writing
  • Clear onboarding plan shared
02

Days 4–21 · Stabilise

We document, harden and bring everything under monitoring.

The structured 30-day onboarding: inventory every asset, deploy monitoring agents, apply patches, secure and test backups, and harden security. We handle the handover from your previous provider — your team keeps working throughout.

  • Monitoring & patching switched on
  • Backups secured and tested
  • Handover from your old provider managed
03

Day 22 onward · Operate

Your IT runs as an accountable service.

SLA helpdesk, 24/7 monitoring, patching, managed backups and security — delivered to agreed targets with monthly reporting. From here the Missan 365 Method keeps improving things every quarter, with a forward roadmap and business reviews.

  • Helpdesk live to your SLA
  • First monthly report delivered
  • Quarterly review scheduled

What we need from you

Surprisingly little — we do the heavy lifting.

Switching does not mean weeks of work for your team. Here is everything we ask for to take responsibility cleanly and start the onboarding.

Access & documentation

Admin access to your systems, Microsoft 365 tenant, domains and any existing documentation — so we can take responsibility cleanly.

An inventory starting point

Whatever asset list, network notes or vendor contacts you already have. If you have none, that is fine — building the inventory is part of onboarding.

A point of contact

One person on your side to confirm priorities and sign off the onboarding plan. We do the heavy lifting; you stay informed and in control.

A short notice to your current provider

When you are ready, we coordinate the transition. We are used to handovers and manage them professionally, with no gap in support.

You stay in control

A switch should reduce risk, not add it.

The biggest worry about changing IT provider is being left exposed mid-transition. We have run this handover many times — here is how we make it safe.

No gap in support

Your helpdesk does not go dark for a day. We run the transition so cover is continuous — the old setup stays available until the new one is proven live.

We document everything

Every asset, account, password and configuration is recorded as we onboard. The knowledge lives in our systems, not in one person’s head — yours or ours.

You keep control

It stays your tenant, your data, your domains. We manage them to an agreed service level and hand back full documentation — you are never locked out of your own environment.

Questions about switching

Changing IT provider, explained plainly.

Will there be a gap in IT support while we switch?

No. We run the changeover so support is continuous. Your existing setup stays available until the new service is proven live, and our helpdesk picks up to your service levels from day one of going operational. The 30-day onboarding is designed specifically to avoid any gap while responsibility transfers.

How long does switching to Missan 365 take?

The structured onboarding is a 30-day process: a short assessment in the first few days, then two to three weeks to document, patch, harden and bring your environment under monitoring, after which the service is fully operational. Larger or multi-site estates are sequenced so nothing is rushed.

What do we need to provide to switch?

Admin access to your systems and Microsoft 365 tenant, any documentation or asset lists you already have, and one point of contact to confirm priorities. If your documentation is thin or missing, that is normal — building a proper inventory is part of the onboarding.

Do we have to give notice to our current IT provider?

When you are ready, yes — but we coordinate the transition with you and are experienced at managing handovers professionally. You stay in control of the timing, and we make sure cover is continuous so you are never left exposed between providers.

Are we locked in once we switch?

No. It remains your tenant, your data and your domains throughout. We document everything as we onboard and would hand back full documentation if you ever left — so you keep control of your own environment and are never locked out.

Can you take over from an in-house IT person?

Yes. Many clients switch from a single overworked admin to a full managed team. We document the knowledge that previously lived with one person, remove the single point of failure, and give you an SLA-backed helpdesk, monitoring and senior escalation behind it.
